 Here at Anstan, we confirm that clients report big savings, because of our 2mm thick solid stainless steel electrodes. Our electrodes normally last between two to six years. This is at least four times as long as any of our competitor's lectrodes, according to our users. Our electrodes when needed, also cost less, and are locally manufactured.
Because of the above and of the trouble free performance of our humidifiers, users have standardized on Anstan. These include include University of the Witwatersrand,  All the banks, various hospitals and the following Eskom power stations, which are in the process of changing to Anstan Kendal, Duvha,Hendrena,Matla, Matimba. We also have various chicken and crocodile farms that use our humidifiers for incubation.

| Features Required to Equal Anstan Electrode Humidifiers
1) All models to have openable and cleanable steam generating tanks.
2) Electrodes must be 2 mm thick solid or perforated stainless steel.
3) Drain valves must be normally open type with DC coils.
4) Drain valves must be 15 mm or 22 mm with 70% full bore flow.
5) Steam generating tanks must have woven stainless steel screens with 4.7 mm aperture or larger.
6) All models must be suitable for modulating control.
7) The humidifiers must have an alarm that senses an impending restriction of the drainage circuit.
8) The humidifier must have an external high water level indicator.
9) The fascia must indicate power on, tank full, interlock activation, high duct RH indication, fill and drain valve activation, diagnostic fill and drain activation, and signal demand to the humidifier.
10) The humidifier must be suitable for successful use with the Aquavantage descaler.
